South America Airport Information
There are more than 20 airports in South America that handle passenger traffic in excess of 5 million every year. While Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo and Brazil and El-Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia are the busiest airports in South America, Congonhas-Sao Paulo Airport in Sao Paulo occupies a distant third spot. Although all these airports are well connected to the city by ground transportation (private taxis, car rentals etc) it’s still advisable to make all the necessary arrangements in advance. If possible, also research about the public and private transport fares. After all, such information is always helpful.
